More than half or 55% of Singaporeans rated the latest solidarity budget strongly, according to Blackbox Research's survey, indicating that they have remained satisfied with the support being offered by the government. In addition, 90% expressed confidence that the circuit breaker measures will be sufficient to slow the spread of the virus. This is despite half of respondents indicating that the measures should have been implemented earlier.
Meanwhile, an overwhelming 80% consider the $300 cash pay-out as the top initiative that will help themselves and their families, followed by the enhanced job support scheme and the job support scheme pay-out from April to May.
