Government Satisfaction Index (GSI): February 2018

Overall government satisfaction fell by two points to 79 in February.

Following improvement across most measures in January, there has been a negative correction across the board in February.

Key areas to fall include civil rights, liberties and free speech (-6), CPF and pensions (-5), cost of living (-4), government accountability (-4) and population management (-4), following the 2018 Budget announcement and the subsequent Parliamentary debates.

Year on year, the only strong improvements for the Government have been in jobs (+8) and salaries/wages (+5).
