Data Release: Singapore General Elections 2011 Voter Impressions

Blackbox_GEGraphs_May-2011We carried out a survey of 370 Singaporeans of voting age (21 and above) on 3-4 May 2011. Voters of all electorates were included with the exception of Tanjong Pagar where the vote was not contested due to a walkover. Interviews were carried out both online and telephone in order to ensure a broad reach of citizens, including those who are less likely to use the Internet. Results have been weighted by gender, age, race and housing type to ensure a representative cross section of the Singapore community. The survey is not intended to measure actual voting intentions at the General Election on Saturday 7 May 2011, but to measure impressions of what most commentators feel has been a fiercely contested campaign.
